The Toronto based foursome played the Horseshoe last Thursday and delighted the small yet thirsty crowd. This was my introduction for the locally acclaimed young lads who play suburban polished indie rock. Their generous set was dripping in catchy tunes with one dimensional hooks that certainly hooked their fluttering fans sprinkled throughout the crowd singing along to each song played with diction and purpose.

The band’s ability to waver between whimsical progressions and moments of refined timing create a nice finish. I am curious on how they write their songs as it comes off as a unified process given how in-tune both musically and emotionally they are together. Basically, the show was great and I am glad I was introduced to a new polished, fun local band. I hope next time they have more of an audience as they clearly know how to please a crowd and obtain fans.
